Male pectoral implants

Pectoral implants can benefit a man who is unhappy with the lack of definition or the bulk that regular workouts bring. Other pectoral implant patients seek correction of a pec muscle that is underdeveloped because of a birth defect or physical trauma.

Male pectoral implants are usually made out of a firm, yet soft and flexible silicone, as opposed to female silicone implants which are spongy and filled with a silicone gel.
Pectoral implants don't affect the natural muscle functionality, so patients can still work out after having the surgery.

It can take about 1-2 hours to perform Pectoral Implant surgery. Time requirements vary depending on the patient's unique case. Pectoral Implants results are permanent.

The Pectoral Implants anesthesia of choice is usually general. In some cases, local anesthesia with sedation may be used.

Recovery time

Patient's return home with support dressing over the chest and usually wear this for a few days following surgery. Work and other normal tasks can usually be resumed about 1 week after surgery, but, more strenuous activity, such as aerobic exercise and heavy lifting, should be abstained from for about 4-6 weeks into the pectoral implant recovery period.
